Lot description

Carved walnut and cloisonné glass granite.
With cupboard and three drawers. Handles in gilt brass.
This cabinet was probably made in the workshop of Francesc Vidal i Jevellí (Barcelona, 1848- 1914) by Frederic Vidal i Puig (Barcelona, 1882-1950), son of Francesc Vidal i Jevellí, who inherited his father's work and trained at the "Cloisonné Glass Company" in London, bringing to his father's workshop an unusual technique in Barcelona during the early decades of the 20th century.
