Lot description

Probably an illuminated oil photograph on paper stuck to board.
On the reverse, an inscription or signature, "Ysabel Plandolit" (probably the model for the work), dated, and stamped "Vernay Paris".
The Count de Vernay owned a portrait photography studio, which is little known, apart from the fact that he was active in Barcelona and Madrid between 1861 and 1873. There was also a frame shop in Paris with the same name.
