Lot description

This type of jug was used in the past to serve water or like a ewer, in the second case letting the water fall on its respective tray. This lot is exceptionally interesting, as the jug is very rarely found next to its tray. Later they were used in religious ceremonies, although their origin was domestic.
With silversmith's hallmarks on both items.
The silver has signs of ageing.
